TECHNICAL SERVICES

Our  technical  services  mandate  is to optimize the fracture  treatments  we provide to our clients. To do this, all available data for the zone of interest is gathered, including published fracture data, production, well test and completion data, logs, and core analysis. The information is analyzed and fracture modeling can then be used to aid in designing the fracture treatment. Using a systematic process, senior fracturing engineers can analyze treatment results and use post-fracture modeling to optimize future treatments. Data from the job can be transferred to the Calgary office via encrypted satellite link, enhancing client ability to make real time decisions.

Satellite fracture treatments are viewed by our clients real time in the Century data rooms. The option of a ‘WebFrac TM’ is also available allowing a client to observe a fracture treatment from anywhere, accessible by their laptops, via secure internet link.  Either option means that changes can be made to a job on-the-fly, real time, for immediate access to information.

One of the key elements of a successful fracture treatment are the fluids used for the job. Century has developed an array of efficient, clean fluid systems that provide excellent production results. Our laboratories are replete with new, “state of the art” equipment. Gel and break tests are performed with the Brookfield PVS Rheometer on all new product inventories, prior to a job and as required for enhancement and quality control.

Just as Century prides itself on having leading technical expertise and outstanding personnel, the equipment Century has deployed in the field is second-to-none. Century's all new fracturing fleet  - 12 Conventional and 4 CBM fleets in the field today - are equipped with the latest technology, capable of pumping all conventional fluids, as well as emulsified CO2 and N2 foam fracturing fluids. Our Canadian manufactured fleet is used to monitor and control all treatments to rigorous standards set by Century.

The success of a fracture treatment depends largely on placing the job properly. With this in mind, Century has put together a stellar operations team led by the VP of Operations, Dean Hillenga with over 19 years in the fracturing business. His crews are comprised of experienced professionals who all have a stake in the company's success and who all take personal pride in the success of their operation. This translates into outstanding service and results for our customers.

With some of the most seasoned crews in the industry - each with an average 6 years field experience - you know you are in good hands.
